Pion Santa's

Hello and welcome to our design team challenge blog. I hope your Friday is going well.  I am on my way to MN for my daughter-in-law's baby shower this weekend. All her relatives have not seen her pregnant, she is a very small person with a beach ball in front, so adorable.  This is their first baby and it is a girl!!

I have a crafty friend Christina that makes the most beautiful cards using the Pion Design Papers on this link and I really wanted to show you them.

We all want her card for Christmas as she highlights the Santa's from the paper. They are so vintage and bring back happy memories from the past. I love how Christina tastefully embellishes her cards.

Here we are just a few years ago when we first met. We enjoyed some craft shopping and each others humor. A very fun day with a sweet friend!

We have opened our monthly challenges now and it is Anything Goes so I hope you take part in them, always a prize for the lucky winner!

Wishing you a blessed day!

Hi everyone!  I believe that like humans, even cell phone's like to play dress up every once in a while and with Halloween coming up I decided to make my cell phone a costume.

I have a clear cell phone case so I can make my own covers.  I used some papers from the Mysterious Halloween 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique.
and bits and pieces of left over ribbons and BAM!!!! there's my cell phone's Halloween Costume :)

Very fun and easy to make.  Speaking of making something, have you entered our challengeyet? if not you have plenty of time to do so.  You can get more info HERE

Snow, Snow and More Snow

Good Morning,

I would like to share my Christmas card I made. I am trying to get ahead on my cards this year.  We will see how successful I am.

I used Pion paper The North Pole. Another beautiful collections. I have several die cuts that I used on my design: Joy Crafts Ice Crystal 3Ice Crystal Edge,  Susan Wilson Festive Collection Filagree Poinsettia and Cheery Lynn Flourish. The chipboard birdhouse and snowman bauble from Wycinancka. For the finishing touches I used pearl embellishments, ribbon, lace, and white frantage.

One last look:

Mama Elephant Wooly Winter

My first Mama Elephant Card and I love the adorable little creatures.  One set of stamps made all this!

I used the Wooly Winter Stamp set along with Mama Elephant die Columbus Circle and Framed Tags-Union Square die to adorn the jars.

Here is the wooly set using Framed Tags-Union Square to make a shaker card. Papers are Sweet Peppermint by Prima.

A gift for the upcoming baby shower decorated with the wooly winter lamb knitting. So this is a very versatile set of stamps and dies from Mama Elephant.

These are brand new in our store at 7 Kids College Fund Store and they are already disappearing!
Thanks for stopping by our design team blog and please join us for the current monthly challenge, Anything Goes!

Totally Halloween

Hello and happy Tuesday!

This tag was made utilizing Ranger TH products-Mini Halloween cling stamps and crayons can be purchased from 7 kids shop.  I call it Totally Halloween.   The skeleton head was from TH Halloween Paper Stash, put a TH monocle over it and attached to the ribbon with a TH safety pin.  Ribbon colored using distress stains in twisted citron and wilted violet.

Did the stamping first with Ranger Jet Black Archival; went over tag with crazing.  Once crazing dried, used TH distressed crayons in carved pumpkin, black soot, twisted citron and wilted violet to add colors.  Cut the 31 from TH paper and put a fragment over top.

Had a lot of fun making this tag and utilizing so many stamps from one set.

Happy Halloween,

I own several of them so it will be nice to actually bring them out of hibernation! The Merry Christmas was made using the Find It Trading Merry Christmas Die. The flower was part of the Flower and Tulle Beaded Trim (I just cut it apart), and the glittered leaves are from Prima.

Strips and lantern stems

Hello hello and happy Friday.  Kerry here, I'm super excited to share a card using the Caravelle Studio Cling Stamps called Strips & Lantern's Stems. When I first saw this stamp set, I was in love with the beautiful funky flower stems.  Immediately I wanted to create a field of funky flowers.

And I did just that!   I started by creating the background with Tim Holtz distress paint in broken china, crushed olive, moved lawn, and salty ocean.

Then I added more colors by using the distress ink pad (using the same colors).  Then I stamped the beautiful lantern stems with Archival ink jet black.

And I also stamped the flower strips stamps using Archival ink in Garden Patina randomly on the bottom half of the card to create some interest.  Then, I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in gathered twigs and seedless preserves.  I also added some butterflies by using Picket Fence distress ink pad & a blending tool from a stencil.  Next, I added some details by using a white gel pen and colored in some of the flowers.  I also added some Festive Fall Sequins mix along with some blings, and finished it up with splatter effects by using Prima color bloom mist in sunshine and lime wedge.

Hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great crafting day!
